Understanding what a career club is not:
- Unemployed
- A promise of a new job or any guaranteed form of employment.
- A replacement for a jobseeker doing his or her own hard work.
- A recruiting, staffing or placement agency.
- A resume writing, private coaching and do-it-for-me job search service.
Career club leadership will:
- Provide members with access to a consecutive 10-week curriculum to guide the job search efforts of all members.
- Create community with the goal of producing the best career results for the whole group.
- Provide unbiased, honest feedback and realistic hope.
- Be accessible weekly through the Revved Up For Hire® page on WaggleForce.com to communicate with members online between in-person meetings.
- Post discussions between meetings and follow-up resources within a private group established on WaggleForce.com in which all members are required to participate.
- Dismiss any member from the group for failure to comply with these and any other rules, especially if it becomes clear that a member is not a productive asset to the group.
Additional optional services:
Should members desire private coaching sessions or personalized assistance beyond the group meetings, the leaders offer these services at discounted rates for club members.
What’s the fee and why is there a fee?
Our team spent the last year training countless people to start their job search. Even though they enthusiastically sought free help and guidance, when it came time to making things happen on their own, they fizzled. Now that we’ve launched Revved Up For Hire® and we’re going to run high-profile groups in select cities, all of our time and effort must be devoted to supporting the efforts of people who are serious about benefiting from everything that a career club can offer.
By making a modest financial investment in the program, prospective members are demonstrating a serious commitment up front and they’re more likely to stick with it. As we’ve seen time and again, job club members don’t invest the money if they have little or no intention of investing their time and talent too.
For the Revved Up For Hire® club, the fee is $250 per person, which covers the 10-week program and must be paid prior to the start of the first meeting.
For the Revved Up For Hire® Boot Camp, the fee is $60 per person, which covers the 2-week program and must be paid prior to the start of the first meeting.
