Donna Galatas
CEO – The Galatas Group & Founder of New Beginnings Career Mentor® Program
Donna’s unexpected life and career encounters have given her the vision of starting this mentoring program. She deliberately selected professionals in transition who because of their own circumstances had empathy for Frisco Family Services clients. Together they were able to connect and reach out to individuals in the community and formulate a program that motivates and teaches the skills needed to conduct an effective job search.
Donna is an accomplished human resources professional who has held executive and senior level positions at Fortune 50 companies in the Healthcare, Distribution, Warehouse, Construction, Entertainment and Education industries.
Donna has a BA in International Relations and an MA in Human Resources Management.
Jackie Torres
COO – The Galatas Group
Jackie has been part of the New Beginnings Career Mentor® Program from its inception back when it was just an idea. She has played an integral part in the planning, curriculum development and implementation of the program. As one of the main facilitators of the program, Jackie has truly engrained herself in the effort to making a difference. Her background and experience were key when mentoring and coaching participants to success. Jackie has made the arduous process of finding a job enlightening and fun.
Jackie is an entrepreneur and accomplished human resources professional who has held executive and management level positions in Fortune 50 companies in Organizational Development, Training and Development, Corporate Communications, Operations and Information Technology.
Jackie has a BBA in Marketing Management and an MBA in Business Administration.
Linda Roy
Experienced Organizational Development consultant
Linda is an experienced Organizational Development consultant with a broad educational background and diverse experiences. She has added value through development of high potentials in leadership within her organization. As part of the New Beginnings Career Mentor® team, Linda facilitates workshops and provides one-on-one mentoring.
Linda has a BS in Elementary and Special Education, an MED in Special Education and an MS in Disciplinary – Human Resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology and Training.
Kim Hefley
Senior Account Executive – American Business Benefits Association
Kim is a Human Resource Executive building a Dallas corporate presence for a national benefits organization which primarily serves small businesses. Kim has taken time from her endeavors to assist in the New Beginnings Career Mentor® Program planning and curriculum development. She continues to contribute through one-on-one mentoring.
Kim holds a Masters in Consumer Economics.
Paula Foster
Certified Human Resources professional
Paula is a certified Human Resources professional with over 10 years of providing professional level human resources work and senior level generalist expertise in key HR programs. She has an extensive history of supporting local and multi-state groups with 500 to 5,000 employees. She is currently acting as a volunteer mentor in the New Beginnings Career Mentor® Program.
Paula attributes her success on her ability to quickly gain the confidence of managers and coworkers and to assimilate into HR teams effectively. She is a highly motivated, dependable professional with outstanding relationship building and communication skills, who has the dedication to succeed in any environment.
Debbie German
Senior Human Resource professional
Debbie is a Senior Human Resource professional experienced in a variety of industries such as Acute Care, Health Care, Manufacturing, Medical, Non-Profits and Start-Ups. Debbie assisted in the program planning and curriculum development of the New Beginnings Career Mentor® Program and she continues to contribute through one-on-one mentoring.
Debbie has a BS in Business Administration and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
