I’m Donna Galatas and I want to tell you Our Story.
My intentions have always been to create an exciting career in the corporate arena. The only time I ever dreamed of being an entrepreneur was to retire and own a little antique shop. Little did I know that my antique shop would actually morph into a human resources business, The Galatas Group. Having been in the corporate world for over 20 years in human resources and personally experiencing layoffs, acquisitions and reorganizations, I decided I wanted to do something different. After going over all my options and talking to business advisors, I decided to do what I know and what I’m very passionate about, which is working with people and helping businesses navigate the HR landscape.
While my human resource business has been very successful and has grown, I felt something was missing. Almost like a co-pilot, I wanted someone who not only shared my passions and vision, but who complemented the business and could help me lead the team. I found all that and more in Jackie Torres. Jackie’s creative flair and passionate approach to working with business owners and professionals, coupled with her background and experience made her the perfect co-pilot. I’m so excited to have a synergistic, fun and forward-thinking team dedicated to widening our reach and expanding our service offerings.
